I can carry one ball of yarn and 4 little needles and be content wherever I go.
They are practical. Every single person in my family needs socks and they have come to be coveted. Hand knit wool socks are usually the first to be pulled out of the sock drawer during the colder months. As I sit knitting them, there are always inquiries as to whose drawer they are going into.
No matter how cold it is outside, my feet are warm. No matter how wet it is outside, my feet are dry. There is something magical about wool. Putting it on our feet is a brilliant idea.
