Making felted slippers is fun! Begin with bulky, doubled or tripled yarn and large needles to knit a huge, oversize slipper. Pop it in the washing machine and dryer to allow it to felt and shrink to your custom size. Contrasting color cuff and embellishments are optional.
Students should know how to knit and purl. Special techniques will be covered in class.
- #10.5 circular needles – 16″ (or other method for working small diameters in the round)

- 2 varying types of locking stitch markers
- MC Alafosslopi 2 x 100 g, 109 yd balls. For optional cuff: Color 1 20-22 yards; Color 2 4-5 yards /OR/ MC Lettlopi held double 3 x 100-g, 109 yd balls .
