Celebrating 10 years
Dear Knitters and Crocheters,
A heartfelt thank you for your support of Fiddlehead Yarns. Your choice to support our little shop has allowed us to continue to grow these past 10 years. In this time, we have expanded our shop and created a beautiful classroom. We now carry over 125 different yarns, many local, domestic or uncommon in the area. The staff has grown from just me and my 1 year old to 8 fabulous women. The 1 year old is starting middle school and he has 2 siblings)
It isn’t just about selling yarn either. In these past 10 years, I have been blessed to help moms pick out yarn perfect for their 1st baby blanket and also yarn to send to a loved one having a rough time. I have been able to introduce customers so they they could share rides, learn a new skill or strike up a friendship. I have graciously collected donated hats from generous knitters and crocheters, only to deliver them to those who have very little. In this world, which lately has had many sad days, I’m happy that our little shop has provided some happiness, feelings of accomplishment, friendship and peace – all the simple necessities of life.
My goal for the shop remains the same: to provide a spot of creativity, smiles, friendship and peace. Thanks to all of you who continue to make Fiddlehead Yarns your LYS. Know that you are appreciated.
